StepWord is a free daily word ladder puzzle that runs entirely in your browser. By using it, you agree to these Terms. The daily puzzle is free to play, with no account or payment required.
Independent game — no affiliation
StepWord is an independent work. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any other word game, its publisher or trademark owner. StepWord is built on the public-domain word ladder (Doublets, Lewis Carroll 1877).
Acceptable use
Please use StepWord for personal enjoyment. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, abuse it through automated traffic, or use it in any way that violates applicable law. We may update or discontinue features at any time.

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. While every daily puzzle is generated and verified to be solvable by logic, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
